Wine Jelly

Wine Jelly

Penelope's fine products have been available to the public since 1989.  However, Penelope's family has been making homemade jams and jellies for over 60 years.  Penelope's grandmother, Ella Luthile of German descent, made her own preserves for her family and friends.  As a child, Penelope loved to cook beside her mother, Darlene.
As a hobby for many years, Penelope made her own jams, preserves and Fine Wine Jelly for her family and friends.  For 17 years Penelope carefully developed her own recipes, planning for the day when she could start her own business.  In 1989 Penelope decided to venture out and sell her jellies at a local public fair.  She was selling other crafts and knew if she served a food item, people would come to her booth.  Penelope's jellies outsold her crafts in a matter of hours and she knew then that it was time to launch her Fine Wine Jelly and start her own business.
